The Question Remains - 3 Days To Go

After almost a full year of writing about success, the big question for me, still, is: How can this bloc help the people who read it, and how can it help those who do not read it?

Obviously, getting more people to read it is important. To do that, it is imperative that the message is clear, and the writing accessible. Just now I did a search on Yahoo! using the word success. Do you know where The Success Spot ranks? Me neither, because it only shows the top 1,000 results, and it wasn't there. So one of my goals for the coming year is to improve that ranking. (Any ideas?)

Also, look for the return of the Good News feature. It may not be a weekly list of exactly three stories; it will vary. I;m thinking of adding an advice type column, if the interest is high enough. I plan on adding a blogroll in the near future, too.

All of these things should increase The Success Spot's exposure, thereby helping people approach their full potential. As always, thank you for the past year - it's been very rewarding.

One idea might be to get some meta tags in your blog somehow so that the search engine will find certain keywords :)

Another idea might be to check your blog in other popular browsers. For example, did you know that in Mozilla Firefox that most of the support and heading text on your page is illegible?

All the best!

I would suggest that getting responses should not be a measure of success. Your site, and the wonderful things contained therein are a true measure of success. Whether or not people want to subscribe or not is their respective gain or loss. Keep doing what you do. It is important.
